Hyundai Sonata: Steering wheel / Repair procedures
| Replacement |
| 1. |
Disconnect the battery negative cable from the battery and then wait for at least 30 seconds. |
| 2. |
Turn the steering wheel so that the front wheels can face straight ahead. |
| 3. |
Remove the airbag module.

| 4. |
Remove the DAB module.
|
| 5. |
Loosen the steering wheel lock bolt properly. Separate the steering wheel by using SST(09561-11001).
|
| 6. |
Loosen the steering wheel lock bolt completely, remove the steering wheel. |
| 7. |
Installation is the reverse of the removal. |
| Disassembly |
| 1. |
Disconnect the steering wheel remote switch connector (A) & (B).
|
| 2. |
Loosen the screw and then remove the lower cover.
|
| 3. |
Seperate the remote control switch from the steering wheel. |
| 4. |
Reassembly is reverse of the disassembly. |
