Outside Rear View Mirror Components and Components Location

Outside Rear View Mirror Repair procedures

Put on gloves to protect your hands. |
|

When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver or use a prying trim
tool, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the
related parts, to prevent damage. |

Take care not to scratch the body surface. |

After loosening the mounting clips, then remove the front door quadrant inner cover (A). 
|
| 2. |
Remove the front door trim.
(Refer to Front Door - "Front Door Trim") |
| 3. |
Disconnect the outside rear view mirror connector (A). |
| 4. |
After loosening the mounting nuts, then remove the outside rear view mirror (B).
Tightening torque :
6.9 ~ 10.8 N.m (0.7 ~ 1.1 kgf.m, 5.1 ~ 8.0 lb-ft)

Install in the reverse order of removal.

Make sure the connector is connected properly. |

Replace any damaged clips. |

Remove the inside rear view mirror cover (A).

Disconnect the inside rear view mirror connector (A). 
|

Push the ECM mirror base down to remove the ECM mirror assembly (A).

Install in the reverse order of removal.

Be careful not to windshield glass. |

Remove the ignition key from the vehicle.

Disconnect the battery negative cable and wait for at least three minutes before beginning work.

Remove the floor console.
