When removing and installing the hood lift, an assistant is necessary. |

When removing the hood lift, first remove the lower portion and then upper portion. |

Using a screwdriver, lift the socket clips (A) up slightly on
both ends of the lift (B), and then remove the lift from the bracket.

Push the socket of the lift into the bracket for installation.

Make sure the hood locks / unlocks and opens / closes properly. |

Be careful not to damage the hood and body.
