Inspection

[Measuring Resistance]

1.	Disconnect the smart cruise control switch connector from the control switch.

Measure resistance between terminals on the control switch when each function switch is ON (switch is depressed).

Function switch	Terminal	Resistance
SET -	3 - 5	550?±5%
RES +	3 - 5	880?±5%
CANCEL	3 - 5	330?±5%
CRUISE	3 - 5	1.4k?±5%

3.	If not within specification, replace switch.

Removal

1.	Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

2.	Remove the steering wheel assembly. (Refer to Steering System - "Steering Wheel")

3.	Remove the screw from the steering cover.

4.	Remove the steering back cover (A).

5.	Remove the steering remote control connector (A).

6.	Remove the steering remote control (A) after loosening the screw.

Installation

1.	Install in the reverse order of removal.
